- Promote Christian love through charitable means
- Promote, propagate and establish the Christian faith as found in the New Testament
- Undertake and assist in development programs and projects among the poor, needy and under-privileged
- Undertake and assist in rehabilitation of the handicapped and victims of leprosy and other diseases irrespective of caste or religion
- Establish programs of rural development
- Promote health services and health education
- Promote agricultural practices and projects to improve food production and farming methods and outputs
- Organize skill formation training programs for rural people
- Serve refugees and victims of natural disasters in India
- Produce and promote special literature and other publications connected with the work of IGL
- Care of pastors, evangelists, teachers and staff, and to provide literature, audio visual aids and other ministry materials to these workers
- Distribution of food and clothing to the poor, aged, needy and handicapped
- Provision and arrangement of public meetings, discussions, seminars, conferences, retreats, exhibitions, information centers and libraries
- Provision and arrangements of cinemas and audio visual programs which promote the aims and objects of IGL

- Production and publication of multi-level Christian education materials for learners, laity, and leaders
- Expansion of Vision 2000 network to 200 regions
- Establishing 20 schools in various parts of the country by 2010
- Completion of the Carmel Conference Center
- Develop 12 mission bases by 2010
- Adopt villages and improve socio-economic conditions of the village through RT2000
- Educate, feed, clothe, and take care of 20,000 children by 2010
