The NAIC General Assembly met at Sharon Gardens in November for a time of pastor training, corporate prayer for the ministry and vision of India Gospel League, prayer for the teams of barefoot pastors, prayer for the rural villages of India, pastor dedications and commissionings, and a time of warm fellowsip among these committed men and women who are bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to villages throughout India! It was a time of reflection and challenge, as the Vision 2000 goals were reviewed and discussed. Opportunities for worship and prayer were sweet times spent in the presence of the Lord and the pastors were encouraged by visiting pastors from the United States. The theme for 2008 is, "Arise and Go Forth" and the pastors were challenged to continue the growth of their congregations and the continued development of new congregations in villages yet unreached.
