SPONSORSHIP AND GIVING
We’re especially excited about the new options we’ve built in for online giving and sponsorship. By clicking on the Give Now button at the top-right of the page, you can make donations to any IGL project and find children available for sponsorship. You’ll be asked to register as a new user (even if you had an account on our old site, you’ll need a new one here!) and create an IGL account. Once you’ve done that, you can manage your giving, see your giving history, print receipts and more.
If you sponsor a child, Bible student, pastor or nursing student, creating an account will allow you to stay informed about your sponsored person, access his or her profiles and give special gifts to your sponsored child without remembering and entering their code. Your account will be directly linked to your sponsorships online!
YOUR DONOR ACCOUNT
Once you’ve created your donor account and signed in, you’ll see the MY ACCOUNT link on the left side of your screen. Use this chart as a reference for where you need to go to manage giving, contact information, sponsorships, recurring gifts and other important information.
While the new giving system feels different from our old site, it is completely PCI compliant, having passed a complicated security examination, and meets the highest level of security standards. The new system allows us to be better stewards of your gifts through office efficiency. Are you a member of a team traveling to India with IGL?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I still use my old IGL donor account log-in information?
Unfortunately, no. After August 2010, your old log-in information will not work. You’ll need to click the Give Now button on our site and register as a new user.
Any existing automatic donations (formally known as ARBs) have been transferred and will be re-linked to your new account once you create it. Please allow up to two weeks for this to take place. We are more than happy to help you set up a new EFT (electronic funds transfer) from your bank account, process credit card gifts and recurring donations. I registered as a new user, but my giving history does not appear. What happened?
If you have a previous giving history with IGL and just created a new account at IGLworld.org, only your giving history since August 2010 will appear under MY GIFTS. Rest assured, we have a complete giving history on record in our office and are happy to provide you a copy, as always, upon request.

How long before I see my sponsored child’s profile?
If you have an existing sponsorship and created a new IGLworld.org account, please allow up to two weeks for your child’s profile to appear in your account. We are responding to new accounts in the order we receive them and as quickly as possible.
What is a pledge?
Pledge is another word for commitment to sponsor someone or give regularly to an IGL ministry. It simply means you’ve pledged to provide for the person. You can find information about all your pledges (sponsorships) in your IGLworld.org account by clicking the Give Now button and logging in.
How do I register on the new site?
From the IGL homepage (www.iglworld.org), click the red Give Now button at the top-right corner of the page. Click the REGISTER link in the left sidebar and follow the prompts. You can be sure you’re signed in when “Welcome YOUR NAME” appears atop the left sidebar.
How do I purchase a special gift for my sponsored child?
Your first visit to our new site as you register a new account will be a bit different from the rest of your return visits! Once you create a new account, we do some work on our end to link your account with that of your child. You won’t see this link for up to two weeks, but once you do, giving special gifts to your child and making your sponsorship donations will be a cinch!
After your accounts are linked and two weeks have passed, follow these steps to make your sponsorship donation and/or give a special gift to your child:
From the IGL homepage (www.iglworld.org), click the orange Give Now button at the top-right corner of the page.
- Log into your account by clicking the LOG IN link in the left sidebar.
- Once you’re signed in, click PLEDGES in the left sidebar.
- Find the name of the sponsored child you’d like to buy a gift for, and click the orange MORE link at the far right of his/her name.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page. If you’re here to make your sponsorship donation, fill in the Pledge Gift Amount field and click “Put Into Shopping Cart.” If you’d like to give your child a special gift, fill out the fields under “Would you like to make a special gift to your child?” and click ADD SPECIAL GIFT TO CART.
- Now you can keep browsing our giving options or check out. Since you clicked your specific child’s MORE link, the donation and gift are automatically assigned to their code and account. It’s a cinch!

I’m uncomfortable storing my credit card information on your site. How do I know it’s safe?
We can assure you that our giving site is as safe as possible and has earned the highest safety rating possible according to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI) compliance laws. The PCI is a set of requirements designed to ensure that ALL companies that process, store or transmit credit information maintain a secure environment.
Our site has undergone rigorous testing and has every safeguard available to protect you from online fraud. You’ll notice that the URL for our secure giving pages begins with “HTTPS.” The S is a guarantee that the page you’re entering information on is a secure, safe page and that your information is being protected.
